Acceptable Use Policy
The content standards for everything generated on AmazVid — product shot videos, ad images, and AI-written copy — plus how moderation, reporting, and enforcement work.
Last updated: July 28, 2026
1. Scope
AmazVid is committed to providing safe, lawful, and responsible AI-generated content services for e-commerce sellers. This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all content generated, stored, or distributed through the platform, and sets out our content standards, moderation workflow, reporting procedures, and enforcement actions.
This Policy applies to all content types the platform handles:
- Video — AI-generated product shot videos rendered from your product photo.
- Images — AI-generated ad backgrounds and composited ad creatives.
- Text — AI-generated advertising copy (headlines and subheadlines).
- User inputs — the marketplace links, product titles, photos, and custom copy you submit as generation inputs.
2. Content standards & prohibited categories
The platform prohibits generating the following six categories of content:
- Pornography / NSFW content.
- Violence / gore.
- Hate speech.
- Child-unsafe content (CSAM).
- Deepfakes / impersonation of real people.
- Content infringing copyright or trademarks.
The clauses below break these categories and other violations down further.
2.1 Absolutely prohibited — zero tolerance
The following will be actioned immediately and may be reported to authorities:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors.
- Content that promotes or facilitates terrorism, extremism, or mass violence.
- Technical instructions for weapons of mass destruction.
- Content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred.
- Non-consensual deepfake sexual content targeting real individuals.
2.2 Restricted — subject to review
- Politically sensitive content that may be misleading.
- Medical, legal, or financial claims in ad copy — these must comply with the regulations of every market the ad runs in.
2.3 Generally prohibited conduct
- Generating or spreading misinformation or disproven claims about a product.
- Impersonating real individuals, brands, or organizations.
- Infringing intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights.
- Deceiving buyers by passing AI-generated content off as human-created photography.
- Bulk-generating spam or deceptive commercial content.
- Jailbreak inputs designed to bypass platform safety measures.
- Submitting product photos or listings you have no right to use — you must own the product imagery or hold a license for it.
3. Content moderation
We operate a multi-layer moderation system: automated review, human review, and periodic audits.
3.1 Automated review (real-time)
- Input filtering — every product title, scraped listing text, and user-typed copy is screened before any generation begins by Waffo Prompt Sift, a content-safety API that intercepts restricted categories in real time.
- Output filtering — all rendering runs through Volcengine Ark's provider-side content safety filters (Seedance video / Seedream image), which reject unsafe generated content before it is delivered.
- No public gallery — generated media is private to your account; there is no public feed where violating content could circulate.
3.2 Human review
- Content flagged by automated systems can be held for manual review.
- User-reported content is reviewed manually by the platform operator.
- Verdicts marked “review” by the safety API are resolved by Waffo's human review team, typically within one hour.
3.3 Periodic audits
- Random sampling of generated content is performed monthly.
- Moderation decisions are logged (prompt, verdict, categories, request ID) and retained for audit.
3.4 Content severity levels
| Level | Description | Review | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| L1 — Critical | Child safety, terrorism | Auto-block + human confirmation | Immediate ban + report |
| L2 — High | Severe violations | Auto-flag + priority review | Remove + suspend account |
| L3 — Medium | General violations | Human review | Warning + removal |
| L4 — Low | Minor violations | Report-triggered | Warning + edit required |
4. Reporting
4.1 When to report
- Content or behavior violating this Policy's content standards.
- Critical violations involving child safety or terrorism.
- AI impersonation or infringement of your own rights — for example another seller rendering your proprietary product photos.
4.2 Reporting principles
- Confidentiality — reporter identity is strictly protected.
- Impartiality — all reports receive independent, objective review.
- Anti-abuse — malicious or false reports are recorded and actioned.
5. Reporting channels
- Report email: support@amazvid.com — monitored daily; mark the subject line “Content Report”.
- Contact form: amazvid.com/contact.
6. Response & processing timelines
| Violation type | Initial response | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| L1 — Critical | Within 2 hours | Within 24 hours |
| L2 — High | Within 24 hours | Within 3 business days |
| L3 — Medium | Within 3 business days | Within 7 business days |
| L4 — Low | Within 5 business days | Within 15 business days |
If extended processing is required, we will notify the reporter proactively with reasons. Processing workflow: received (auto-acknowledge) → triage (classify L1–L4) → review (automated + human) → decision → enforcement → notification.
7. Enforcement actions
| Action | Measure | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Warning | Written notice requiring removal or edit | First-time minor violation |
| 2. Content removal | Violating content taken down | Confirmed L3–L4 |
| 3. Credit forfeiture | Remaining credits voided without refund | Repeat minor or single L3 |
| 4. Account suspension | Temporary suspension pending review | L2 or cumulative violations |
| 5. Permanent ban | Permanent termination of access | L1 or repeat L2 |
| 6. Legal action | Report to authorities; cooperate with investigation | Criminal-level L1 |
8. Appeals
You may appeal an enforcement decision within 14 days of receiving notice by emailing support@amazvid.com with the subject line “Appeal”. Appeals are reviewed within 10 business days by a reviewer independent of the original decision. If your generation request was blocked by automated moderation, include the request ID from the error message so we can pull the moderation record.
9. Policy updates
Material changes to this Policy are notified at least 15 days in advance by email or an in-product notice. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
