Refund Policy
A 14-day money-back guarantee on paid plans, automatic credit returns when a render fails, and a plain list of what we cannot refund.
Last updated: July 28, 2026
The 14-day guarantee
If you subscribe to a paid plan and decide within 14 days that it is not for you, email us and we will refund the full amount. No form, no interrogation about why.
This applies to your first paid subscription period on an account — monthly or yearly. It does not reset every month, and it does not apply to a plan you have already been refunded for once.
When a render fails
You are never charged for our failures. If a shot fails — the model errors out, the queue times out, the upload breaks — the credit is returned to your balance automatically, usually within seconds. A 10-second shot returns the 2 credits it cost.
Retrying a failed job is free. If you see a failed job that did not return its credit, send us the job ID and we will correct the balance and look at why the refund path did not fire.
What is not refundable
Being straight with you about the edges:
- Credits spent on shots that rendered successfully. The compute was bought and paid for on our side the moment the model ran. If the result disappoints, adjust the reference photo, camera move or lighting and try again — but that is a new render, not a free one.
- Unused credits at the end of a billing period. Monthly allowances reset and do not carry over or convert to cash.
- Renewal periods after the first. Once you are past the guarantee window, a renewal charge is not refundable — cancel before the renewal date instead. We will still consider a pro-rata refund if you cancelled and were charged anyway.
- Accounts terminated for breaching the terms. No refund where we terminate for abuse.
Pay-as-you-go packs
Credit packs are a one-off purchase and are refundable in full within 14 days if none of the credits in that pack have been spent. Once you start rendering with a pack, the purchase is final. Unspent pack credits do not expire while your account is open, so there is no rush to use them.
How to request a refund
Email billing@amazvid.com from the address on your account. Include:
- The plan or pack you are asking about.
- Roughly when you bought it.
- If it is about a failed render, the job ID from the video detail page — that lets us find the exact failure instead of guessing.
We reply within 24 hours on business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through our Merchant of Record, Waffo Pancake, and typically land in 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank — that part is out of our hands.
Cancelling instead of refunding
If you just want the charges to stop, cancel from Billing → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and you keep full access until then. You do not need to email us to cancel, and we will not make you sit through a retention flow. See the terms of service for the billing mechanics.
Before you file a chargeback
Please email us first at support@amazvid.com. A chargeback costs us a fee and gets the account frozen while the bank investigates, which helps neither of us. In practice we have never refused a reasonable refund request — asking is faster than disputing.
